This book highlights the trajectory and excellence of the Ecuadorian poet Alfredo Gangotena (+). Edited by Jean Michel Place and translated by Cristina Burneo Salazar, it gathers Gangotena's correspondence with numerous French writers and intellectuals such as Max Jacob, Jules Supervielle, Jean Cocteau, with whom he shared his poetry in those times of great cultural effervescence, just after the First World War.
