This book is a compilation of eleven chronicles written by Purita Pelayo who portrays the situation of the GLBTI community during the second half of the twentieth century in Ecuador. The text is also an exhortation to the complex and important process of the struggle for the decriminalization of homosexuality in Ecuador. The book approaches the perspective of the experience and functions as a literary work and, at the same time, as an archive. Accompanied by a visual memory, the text addresses the varied perspectives and the voice of the oppressed.
