Synopsis

Cantos a la Ama Toa (Mother Earth) is a multidimensional book. It invites us to connect with the sensitive and emotive power of nature through the author's poems and reminds us of the visual wonder of the beings that inhabit it through his paintings. For many months, the creative process of this book took Jaime by the hand in a back and forth between word and image. The writing of the poems naturally triggered in Jaime the desire, sometimes so strong, that it became a need to paint. And at times the game of painting raised in him the need to write. This dialogue between poems and paintings presents us with the possibility of remembering, thinking and feeling nature each time, again and again, from a new place.
