Synopsis

This publication is built around the lecture given by Enrique Ciriani at the Coliseo Alexandros, Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ, on April 25, 2014. Enrique Ciriani: legacy of the architect and other essays is a valuable document that contributes to the knowledge of a complete architect, with a compelling work and that seeks, through a printed medium, to transmit the experience of the conference at USFQ, which took place in front of an audience of more than 1000 architects and students of Architecture. In this brief moment Ciriani reminded us of the potential of architecture to shape life.

USFQ's College of Architecture and Interior Design (CADI) has been organizing a large number of international architecture meetings for 20 years. Architects belonging to the world's elite have come to CADI, but only Ciriani's lecture has been held on a stage of that magnitude. Ciriani is a spectacle, in the best sense of the word, not only for his work, but also for his charisma and ability to conduct an event of such renown.
